We welcome you to attend our service and explore a liberal religious thinking community which values most highly the freedom to ask and answer religious questions.
Marjorie Ward, President

Our Mission Is To:

  • Provide a sanctuary for individual beliefs,
  • Encourage spiritual and ethical growth,
  • Create respect for the web of life,
  • Promote justice and peace.

Who We Are

We are a community of conscience open to all people of goodwill. We come from all political, social and religious backgrounds. We encompass people from Tuolumne, Calaveras and Mariposa counties and meet in three locations to accommodate our diverse geographic membership.

Why We Are

Isolated players are not an orchestra, no matter how excellent they are as soloists. We generate a community greater than the sum of its parts: trustworthy friends, understanding listeners and thoughtful teammates. We share meanings developed in our individual lives and we stand together in times of sorrow, joy and challenge.

Our Fellowship In The Community

Many of our members play constructive roles in myriad organizations in the area which gives us an opportunity to support and cooperate in important local concerns. Fellowship members took the initiative in organizing an annual celebration of the life and work of Martin Luther King Jr., an annual celebration which continues to this day.
